The Real-World Trade-offs
Here is the catch. When you run a super-efficient system, your margins for error get thinner. If you suddenly crank your line speed up by 20%, you can’t just “turn up the dial” without risking ink that isn’t fully cured. You have to build the system for your absolute busiest day, not your average Tuesday. We usually suggest adding about 15% extra wattage just to handle those surges. One last thing: protect your gear. Voltage spikes are lamp killers. Use a stabilized power source and get some decent shielding so your PLC controllers don’t start acting glitchy from EMI interference. Do that, and your system will take a beating in a dusty factory and keep on humming.
